And yes, as i predicted, we didnt made it into the finals. But we sure did have alot of fun. 3 matches, 2 loss and 1 draw. Our team was SP team 3 and our first match was against SP team 2. Since it was our own people playing against one another we played quite a relax game. But it was still may the better team win. Second match was quite important to us as we might have a chance to get into the finals if we win this match. NYP team 2 was the team we were up against. We were leading at first but they caught up. At the end of the match we managed to shoot in a 3 pointer and got a draw. Last match was against NP team 2, which had really big and tall players. Cutting in was impossible so we had to shoot outside. It was a really tough match with the opponent team using their sizes but we had quite a close match.
So the finals was SP team 2, NP team 2 and another two teams from the other group. The weather was freakish, one minute it was all bright and sunny and another minute it was drizzling. So while waiting for the rain to stop, all of us went to cheer for our captain ball girls. I think they were playing in a semi final match at that time. After that it was the basketball finals and our SP team 2 won! And i also heard that our captain ball girls came in first too. But the most important thing was that SP Primers are the overall champion in this year IPOD!
I guess everything went quite alright, but i'm a little disappointed. I forgot some stuffs when i was playing and we could have won the second match against NYP team 2. But other then that, i think i played quite reasonable well. At the end of one match there was this guy in NP team 2 told me my 3 pointer was quite accurate. I dont really agree with him but i dont disagree with him also. Haha. I guess i was kinda nervous. But the whole thing was a really great experience for me.
I'm definitely joining IPOD'08. (:
